Winter in Montréal
I thought I’d revisit some photos that I never ever posted on the blog. I’m hoping that this year I can take more photos.
These are from our family trip to Montréal in 2013. We spent Thanksgiving with our Canadian family. And what perfect timing. The day we flew in to the city it snowed!

A new life begins
I haven’t been able to work on this blog in a long time. Due to the fact that my husband and I are finally starting a family and we are just about 30 weeks in. Everything has been good health-wise and we are so thrilled to welcome our baby girl come October. It’s been pretty busy otherwise, but I wanted to just post up a photo that I took last weekend of my sister and her daughter. My niece, who turned 13 earlier this month, has grown taller than me! I remember taking care of her as a newborn while my sister went to class during the day at the University of Washington.

It’s been awhile since I’ve had to take care of a baby, but hopefully it will all come back to me. I’m excited for what is to come as our new life begins.

It’s been awhile. I last left this blog with happy images of family and friends, marriages and photos of our travels. However summer did not end on a good note. A death in the family really shook up everything, and plans had to be rearranged. While my husband attended his youngest brother’s wedding in Bellingham, I flew across the country to attend a funeral in Montreal on the very same day. It was an extremely hard time for my family. Especially my mother who was trying to deal with the tragic and sudden loss of her older sister. My favorite auntie was in a terrible accident that should not have happened, but did.
Time will heal wounds and memories will never be forgotten. I am lucky to have had my auntie in my life. She was the best. May you rest in peace, Mak Om. I love you dearly.
Some iPhone photos while I play catch up.
