I’m at 38 weeks today. Getting achier as the baby grows and settles into position. She’s very low. We have doctor appointments at least two to three times a week now because of how tiny she is. But then again, I’m also a petite Asian woman. I’m pretty sure she’ll be just fine.
So as I wait for my little one and try to keep my health up, sometimes comfort food is all I need. I made an easy chicken congee with some salted soy beans, cilantro and green onion toppings. Sprinkle with a little pepper and I’ve got one simple yet tasty meal.
