This past June, a unit two floors up ended up flooding all the floors beneath it and unfortunately we were one of those units. Luckily, we were home at the time and managed to protect our personal property from further water damage. But our luck ended there, because we had to move all of our stuff out in order for the contractors to dehumidify our home, and fix all of the hardwood flooring and walls. While they finished the work, we stayed at a nearby hotel during the summer. Free breakfast, an indoor pool, and housekeeping whenever we need it. Maddie didn’t mind our temporary home. She had plenty of space to play within our 1 bedroom, 1 bath suite.
