Krischel + Ian
One of our good family friends finally got married! The wedding was beautiful. It took place at the Kitsap Memorial State Park, and the location was breathtaking. They had a lovely outdoor ceremony in the middle of the woods, and lots of rustic charm with every decor piece. I actually designed and laser cut all of the centerpiece location names (which are all of the places they’ve traveled together), as well as the “K & I” cake topper for their wedding. I think those turned out really nice.
My sister was one of the bridesmaids. I was initially a bridesmaid, but at 37 weeks pregnant I didn’t think I should risk it. I was perfectly ok with being a guest.
Also, being that I was very pregnant I decided not to lug around the 5D Mark II to the wedding just to get some photos. I brought along my Fujifilm X-Pro1 and managed to get a few shots.
Congratulations Krischel and Ian!! May your love take you to new places as you travel through this next journey.
Check out their gorgeous engagement pictures here! Looking forward to seeing their professional wedding pics.
Nate + Tara
This post has been long overdue because of personal things that took precedence over this blog. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch up again after this.
I’ve been so excited to post my photos from Nate and Tara’s wedding and I wish I could have done it sooner. But it’s better late than never. Again I wasn’t their official photographer but I couldn’t resist taken photos of all their little details, and all of the special moments. You can find more info and more photos from their photographer Julie Harmsen via Green Wedding Shoes.
Now on to the photos! I have a lot because there were too many to choose from.

A beautiful photo of my new sister-in-law at her Tea Ceremony.

Our friends Nate and Tara finally got married after being together for 15 years! They have been sweethearts forever. I was not their photographer, but I couldn’t help but take some photos of their wedding at the Old Chaser Farm on Vashon Island. Details galore! And more photos later. Congratulations Nate and Tara!
